Walking is something most of us don't think about — until it starts feeling harder, slower, or less steady than it used to. Gait, or your walking pattern, requires precise coordination between your muscles, joints, balance system, and nervous system. When any part of that chain isn't working efficiently, the whole pattern suffers.

What Are Gait and Walking Difficulties?
